Have I told y’all how lucky I am to be married to my husband? He takes out the trash without being asked, cleans the bathrooms, and even cooks dinner most evenings during the week. Given that he cooks dinner, the standing rule is that I clean up after the meal. There’s only one problem. I really dislike washing dishes. I think the real reason I dislike doing dishes so much, is that I’m grossed out by used kitchen sponges and dish rags. I can’t even think about all the germs in a wet sponge. *shudder* When I need to hand wash my blender pitcher after making this indulgent Chocolate Peanut Butter Milkshake, I turn to new Bounty with Dawn instead of the kitchen sponge.
My day has been made! Bounty with Dawn is a specially designed 2-in-1 product that combines my favorite brand paper towel with the grease-fighting power of Dawn dish soap. Adding peanut butter to a blender can be messy, but it’s super delicious!
No one wants that greasy peanut butter residue remaining on their blender pitcher after washing. Simply activate a sheet of Bounty with Dawn and watch those suds appear!
My husband has always looked at me sideways when I grab a paper towel, douse it with water and Dawn, and start washing dishes. I can’t help it! Unless the sponge is right out the dishwasher or fresh out of the package, I don’t like to use it. Someone finally saw the genius of my idea because Bounty with Dawn now exists and it’s awesome! Original Bounty paper towels are tough, but Bounty with Dawn has 70% more fibers in each sheet making them even tougher, and perfect to use in lieu of a germy dish cloth. I think I may have even converted my husband.
When I was done with my sparkly clean pitcher, I continued cleaning up the rest of my milkshake mess. Simply rinse to reuse, and keep washing. I had plenty of suds to clean the lid, silverware and glass mug.
Clean up was so easy, I made sure my husband knows to use Bounty with Dawn for cleaning the blender pitcher after making his peanut butter smoothies for breakfast. We may even make milkshakes again when the kids are awake. Hmmm…but then we would have to share and I am not sure how I feel about that.
