One of our favorite attractions at Stone Mountain Park is the 3-D movie theater with 4-D effects. For Spring Break the theater is sharing a new movie – Rio: The 4-D Experience. The 12 minute 3-D movie with 4-D effects, stars the original Blu and Jewel, the last two macaws on earth. I can’t wait to see what special effect the Stone Mountain staff will be adding to make it feel like you are really in the jungles of Rio.

Visitors may also witness the April Fool’s Magic Show with amazing feats presented by sleight-of-hand expert Matt Baum, and for Easter, things will be hopping at the Character Meet & Greet including the Easter Bunny and Penelope the Parrot, and the soaking suspended rope bridges and net tunnels of Geyser Towers. Plus returning on April 5 is the annual Easter Sunrise Service atop the mountain.
