April is quickly coming to a close, and that means May and Mother’s Day are right around the corner. I get a little bummed that my Mom now lives in Florida and I don’t get to see her on Mother’s Day. If we were together, I know that she would enjoy going out as a family to enjoy brunch. I’d be happy to take her out for brunch, because I too love it. Brunch is perfect for the weekend. I not only get to sample a variety of my favorite breakfast foods, but they are usually prepared in a way that is just a little more fancy than normal. Today I’m sharing 14 Fabulous Recipe Ideas for Mother’s Day Brunch from my kitchen and from the kitchen’s of a few of my food blogger friends. Whether you prefer sweet or savory brunch items, I’m sure you’ll find a new recipe you’ll want to try.
I love that brunch is usually set in a more relaxing setting and has a special feel to it. There are no rules in preparing a brunch menu, and it doesn’t need to be a holiday weekend. You can serve brunch any weekend of the year and enjoy it just the same. Want to serve a delicious but no fuss brunch dish? Try making a recipe that you can prepare almost completely the night before like my Overnight Strawberry Stuffed French Toast.
To me, nothing helps brunch also feel little more special than by serving a recipe that’s a little more indulgent than your usual breakfast. These Homemade Cinnamon Rolls are the perfect sweet treat to make for your mom this Mother’s Day. In fact, I think I am going to request my husband make me a batch since he did such an amazing job the first time he made them.
Who are you cooking for this Mother’s Day?
Squeeee! I LOVE brunch. It is, perhaps, my most favorite meal to eat out. You can eat sweets or savory and even have a mimosa if you want. What better way to enjoy all sorts of foods. Love your recap!!!
I love brunch too, Karli! Weekends were made for brunching on the patio!

Thanks so much, Christine! My husband did an awesome job making them! He’s got mad kitchen skillz!
