I am so excited to share this week’s #SundaySupper post! Y’all know I love butter, and if you follow me on Instagram, you are probably aware that one of my favorite brands is Land O Lakes®.
The Sunday Supper Crew (AKA fun group of supreme awesomeness) gets to introduce to you to a delightful round of recipes all featuring the new Land O Lakes® Sauté Express® Sauté Starter!
Land O Lakes® innovative Sauté Express® Sauté Starter combines butter, olive oil, and a variety of herbs and spices into one convenient square. I know great family meals don’t have to mean hours spent in the kitchen. Sometimes, cooking a simple, uncomplicated dish can prove to be a winner with the family taste buds, and I am all about that! I attempted to add a garlic, buttery twist to our everyday chicken, and successfully created this scrumptious
Garlic and Herb Chicken Fettuccine.
Ingredients:
8 ounces uncooked dried fettuccine
3 Land O Lakes® Garlic & Herb Sauté Express® squares
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts chopped into bite size pieces
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 1/2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
1/2 cup chopped sun dried tomatoes
Directions:
1. Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
2. Melt 2 Sauté Express® squares in 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-low heat just until bubbles begin to form.
3. Add chicken and sauté 13–18 minutes or until chicken is golden brown on both sides and done (165°F). Remove from skillet.
4. Melt remaining 1 Sauté Express® square in skillet. Add onions, cook 1-2 minutes or until softened, then add mushrooms and sundried tomatoes. Sauté 5–15 minutes, depending on how done you like your mushrooms.
5. Toss chicken back into pan with veggies to mix, then add pasta and mix well to coat. I like to do this back in the stock pot I cooked my pasta, so there is plenty of room to move the ingredients around.
6. Serve immediately with a sprinkle of shredded parmesan cheese on top.
This dish was a fast and easy. Perfect for that weekday evening when you are short on time and energy. The Sauté Express® squares were so easy to use, just unwrap and place in the warm pan to melt. Almost immediately the delicious aroma of garlic and butter filled my kitchen, and in less than 30 minutes later, dinner was ready to be served!
Sauté Express® Sauté Starter is available in four delicious flavors: Garlic & Herb, Italian Herb, Savory Butter & Olive Oil and Lemon Pepper. Everyone is welcome to visit SauteExpress.com for meal ideas and tips. My inspiration for this dish is found here, and there are plenty more ideas that I plan to add into my regular weeknight meal rotation.
But wait! There’s more!

I would like to try the garlic and herb, maybe over some fresh green beans. Your recipe looks so good.
OMG…fresh green beans! Brilliant idea!
I am loving all the dishes this week. The saute express is so versatile you can really make any dish stand out. You chicken fettucine is no exception. Love the addition of mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes. I’m wanting a big bowl right now.

I cannot resist any dish with sundried tomatoes in it! This looks rich and satisfying and absolutely mouthwatering. Adding it to my ever-growing list of things to make with this stuff! 😉
I love them too. I use the dried, but for this dish I would have preferred them too look brighter in color, maybe use the ones in the jar next time.
