Love is in the air, and maybe some chocolate. This week our wonderful #SundaySupper team is celebrating Valentine’s Day! DH and I are not much into lovey, dovey, couple time for the heart filled holiday. We are more the spend time and celebrate as a family type, ever since we had kids. My quest for adding fun to our family meal inspired these super yummy
Bacon Double Cheese Burger Bites.

Last week in preparation for my Sunday Supper post, I made this Bacon Double Cheese Burger Dip and it was amazing! Perfectly smoky and gooey slathered on toasted rounds of baguette.

When there were plenty of leftovers, I decided to give new life to the leftover dip, by making the little baked bites of deliciousness.

These golden brown little burger bites were a huge hit with the family. Well, except for Jed, since he eats all of five different foods, and his lack of diversity is the bane of my foodie existence. Maybe I will just check out the incredible list of recipes by Sunday Supper team this week. I swear there is bound to be something, on the list that he will try. Even if it turns out to be a sweet treat for dessert.

Bacon Double Cheese Burger Bites Valentine #SundaySupper

Easy and delicious cheeseburger bites.

Ingredients

2 Cups leftover Bacon Double Cheese Burger Dip
16 oz pre-made or home-made pizza dough
Olive oil for brushing
Garlic powder

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 F
Place pizza dough onto a lightly floured surface; divide into 12-14 pieces.
Flatten each sectioned portion into circle, and place 2 Tablespoons for cooled Bacon Double Cheese Burger Dip in the center. Bring edged together into the center and pinch to seal.
Place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet, brush lightly with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic powder
Bake filled dough bites in oven for 10-15 minutes, or until lightly browned.
Serve warm with ketchup and mustard if desired.
