Baking a variety of cookies really gets me into the holiday spirit. My problem is I want to bake all the cookies. The more interesting recipes I find, the more I want to try making in my own kitchen. This leads to cookie overload for my family, but luckily I have an office full of cookie loving coworkers that help by consuming all the excess holiday deliciousness.
One of my favorite cookies to bake are snickerdoodles. I took this classic cinnamon sugar cookie to a new level by simply adding some cinnamon chips to the batter. If you like snickerdoodles, then you will LOVE these Cinnamon Chip Snickerdoodles.
Another flavor of the holiday season is peppermint. I love it mixed with chocolate in my coffee creamer and in these White Chocolate Peppermint Cookie Bars.
