It’s the height of football season, and that means also means it’s time for tailgating down here in the South. It’s no secret that the celebration before the big game is almost as important as your team winning, so this is no time to call an audible and wing it. You need a solid plan to throw a great pre-game party, and I’m here to share a few tailgating tips and a recipe for these mouthwatering Mozzarella Stuffed Meatball Sliders.

Whether you plan to party at home or take it on the road to the parking lot of your favorite school you need to be prepared. One of the most forgotten items for a tailgate is the paper goods. Some people are so excited about remembering the platter of perfectly sliced burger toppings, they forget the plates. Don’t be that tailgate host. Go Tailgating with SOLO®!

Be the host with the most by customizing your tailgate with your team’s colors using SOLO disposables. Yes, we all know SOLO makes awesome cups, but they are so much more than that. SOLO offers a wide variety of paper, heavy duty and premium strength products, even ones for the friends that are always putting down their cup and losing it. The cool “It’s My Solo” cups let guests personalize their cup, by simply peeling off the label, making your mark by scratching your name, and voila! No more misplaced cups.

Tailgating, just like any party, can go downhill pretty quickly with the wrong food and beverages too. My favorite items for tailgating are easy to make but packed with layers of flavor. I love to serve mini or 2 bite sized items like my Mozzarella Stuffed Meatball Sliders that make snacking easy while guests mix, mingle and watch the game. Yes, I said stuffed meatballs, because a meatball with a cube of cheese pressed inside before baking would be too much cheese…said NO ONE EVER!

Try something new by adding fun sized individual portioned snacks to your menu. Everyone loves to feel like something was made just for them to enjoy. Individual vegetable and dip combo cups are perfect for snacking while chatting. Or shake things up with a festive flair with individual 7 layer dips with tortilla chips. The combinations, to tantalize the taste buds of your guests, are endless.

Throwing an exciting tailgate party isn’t hard when you have the right food and SOLO disposables. Express your creativity in the color you choose and the menu you serve.
