Celebrate National Margarita Day With a Green Apple Margarita #VivaLaRita

Green Apple Margarita Recipe | In The Kitchen With KP | Cocktail

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Bahama Breeze. All opinions are 100% mine.

It’s time to break out the salt shaker and shake, shake…shake, shake. It’s National Margarita Day and time to crush some ice and get to blending! All my friends are either snowed or iced in, so what better way to bring on thoughts of warmer weather than by making a frosty, frozen Green Apple Margarita

While I love to make frozen margaritas at home, relaxing while someone else makes them for me is even better. I’m excited to head to Bahama Breeze soon with some friends to check out their new handcrafted margarita recipes for their Viva La Rita celebration! From National Margarita Day to Cinco de Mayo, Bahama Breeze Viva La Rita is rejoicing in all things margarita. To salt things up a bit I am even sharing a fabulous giveaway for a $100 Bahama Breeze gift card. So don’t miss the entering via the Rafflecopter form towards the bottom of this post.

When our margarita machine makes an appearance in the kitchen, a Friday night easily turns into a party atmosphere. Having a family, I want to make sure the kids have some frozen fun too, so I keep a variety of snow cone syrups on hand. Who knew one of the syrups would end up being the inspiration for a grown up margarita too.

I wonder if my husband would mind me making margaritas from February 22nd to May 5th, following the Bahama Breeze Viva La Rita celebration? I am pretty sure with something this delicious he could be seriously tempted.

National Margarita Day is the perfect holiday to kick off Bahama Breeze Viva La Rita. If you get the chance to check out Bahama Breeze Viva La Rita for yourself, share your fun on Instagram and Twitter with the hashtag #VivaLaRita. You’ll be entered in their sweepstakes for a chance to win gift cards, t-shirts, or an island party for you and your friends. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you to win.

Purist margarita fans will probably be ready to school me on the proper ratio of 2:1:1 (2 part tequila, 1 part of triple sec, 1 part lime juice) after they read my recipe, but I don’t mind. I am all about a margarita that pops with sweetness. I will agree with experts that quality tequila is key, for enjoying your cocktails versus cringing as you sip. I’m looking forward to sampling the new line of margaritas at Bahama Breeze and kissing this chilly weather good-bye. You don’t have to ask me twice to go out on a Friday night to enjoy fresh margaritas, live music and conversation with my girlfriends. If it sounds good to you too, head on over to Bahama Breeze and join Viva La Rita. I’ll be there to pass you the salt shaker.
