GODIVA. The name alone conjures up thoughts of elaborate chocolate decadence. This week I was given the opportunity to experience a chocolate fantasy fling as one of GODIVA’s Summer Social Ambassadors. I was invited to visit the GODIVA boutique at Lenox Square for a tasting of epic proportions and experience a sweet Summer Fling with GODIVA’s Trufflelata™ and Belgian Soft Serve.
Starting off the tasting party, our small group was presented with a tray of GODIVA chocolate dipped strawberries. As I savored a dark chocolate dipped berry, I was transported back to my high school days when I was first introduced to GODVIA chocolate. I was in HEAVEN! My taste buds were tingling and my mouth watered in anticipation of sampling the six decadent flavors of GODIVA Trufflelata™.
We dove into samples of the Chocolate Lava Cake. Still not sure what a Trufflelata™ is? Well other than it’s something you NEED in your life, just imagine a frozen treat that includes your favorite GODIVA truffles mixed with cocoa, flavored syrups in some, and then water and ice. Notice I didn’t list milk? You’ll never miss it in this creamy, flavor filled, frozen confection.
Next up was the Salted Caramel Trufflelata™ and a robust conversation over the true pronunciation of caramel. Talk about your sweet tooth heaven. I am huge fan of frozen treats in general during the warm Southern Summers. OK. Year round too. I couldn’t wait to try the remaining flavors of Strawberry Crème, Hazelnut Crunch, Milk Chocolate and Oreo®! Every flavor I tasted was as amazing as the first. Guess I won’t be choosing a single favorite any time soon.
GODIVA’S new Belgian Soft Serve samples were over the top. We were able to sample the White Chocolate Vanilla Bean and Dark Chocolate flavors. The White Chocolate Vanilla Bean was amazingly delicious thanks to the premium flavor of Madagascar vanilla extract, but I am still a GODIVA dark chocolate girl and loved the combination of the 52% and 72% cocoa blends in the GODIVA Dark Chocolate soft serve. For those that can’t decide, go for the twist option combining both flavors in your favorite variety of plain or dipped waffle cones, or traditional five ounce cup.
You’re probably drooling by now from all my pictures from the sampling event, and can’t wait to to try the GODIVA Trufflelata™ and soft serve for yourself. Today is your lucky day! Thanks to the generous folks at GODIVA, I’m giving away $25.00 GODIVA Gift Card! You too can fall in love with GODIVA and enjoy a sweet Summer fling!

Most memorable summer fling — I spent the summer as an intern at Disney in college and met a great guy. We went back to our separate states then, but couldn’t stay away long – I married him a few years later:)
