It’s Labor Day weekend, and in my book, that means the start of Fall weather is just around the corner. Cooler temps mean unpacking sweatshirts and sweaters and enjoying comfort food for dinner. DH is the pasta addict in our house. If I indulge in eating pasta, I want it to be bursting with flavors and something different than a traditional plain tomato sauce. If I can’t have unique, then I will at least make a batch of my favorite Extra Cheesy Parmesan And Garlic Pull Apart Bread on the side. Then I’ll be one happy camper.
If by chance it doesn’t cool off anytime soon, I can always throw together my favorite cold Mediterranean Couscous Salad. When we were living in PA, there was always one last heat wave in the Fall. This dish is perfect for this time of year when you don’t want to be heating up the kitchen but still want something filling and comforting for dinner.
