Mrs. Butterworth’s Family Breakfast Ball Recap

It’s been a busy few weeks in KP’s kitchen. It already feels like weeks have passed since we were in Piedmont Park for Mrs. Butterworth’s Breakfast Ball, but it was only on March 24th. We had a very fun time even though Mother Nature was not cooperating with Mrs. Butterworth.

The whole family enjoyed the pancakes and waffles, but was exceptionally happy over the tables offering the varieties of toppings to “dress” our breakfast. Baby was partial to the whipped cream, while Jed stayed loyal to his usual syrup. Mrs. Butterworth’s to be exact. It was her ball after all.

After breakfast was done, we headed outside to take advantage of some of the great activities being offered. Baby and Jed had their fill of coloring, paper flower making and running around. Due to the damp chill in the air we headed home earlier than planned, but we were sure to not to forget our limited edition bottle of Mrs. Butterworth’s syrup.

When we arrived home we used the code on the back to print out patterned cut outs to dress up Mrs. Butterworth. It reminded me of the paper dolls of my childhood. Yeah, I just dated myself. I may as well say I had Colorforms too.

Anyhoo…Baby was delighted cutting out the different clothing accessories for Mrs. Butterworth. I don’t have to tell you she was partial to the ballerina tutu. Jed was completely content to color while sitting at the kitchen table with his big sister. I know Mrs. Butterworth is trying to bring fun back to breakfast, but I didn’t want to stop there. We had a fun family activity to occupy us inside while it was chilly and rainy outside. Who could ask for more?

You can get a free download to dress up your own Mrs. Butterworth bottle by clicking here and visiting Mrs. Butterworth on Facebook to see more photos from the breakfast ball. And don’t forget to keep an eye out for the fun new limited edition spring designs Mrs. Butterworth is sporting in your local stores. She is quite the fashion plate. 🙂

PS…Since I was able to get in a picture with both my children from this fun day, I’m throwing it out there for my Mommy and Me Post! As a bonus, Meghan over at JaMonkey was able to snap this one of me too. Thanks so much, Meghan!
