I didn’t take the entire week off of work for Baby’s Spring break. I did take a day however to take the family and check out the new Geyser Towers at Stone Mountain. Along with the adventurous climbing Baby did, we all went to see the Wildlife Wonders Animal Babies Show.
Hmmmm…animal babies. Baby is seven. There are not many things she loves more than sweet baby animals. Currently she is talking about becoming a vet, so I knew this would be such an exciting attraction for her.
The show did not disappoint. I think my eyes were as wide as Baby’s and the “aaaawwwws” you heard form the audience was overwhelming. The animal expert wowed the crowd with a baby timberowlf, baby alligator and a full grown hedgehog mom and mini baby hedgehog, but we were totally blown away when he presented the joey kangaroo. OMY! It was the cutest thing!
After the show we participated in a special meet and greet with the animal expert and some of the animals. We were offered the chance to hold the baby kangaroo. Of course Baby was dying to hold the joey, but I was surprised when Jed asked if he could hold it too.
Being three, I asked the host if I could help Jed hold the kangaroo. He said yes, and I am not sure who looks more excited in this picture.
