I’ve been pretty quiet the last few days. With the holiday, being off from the office, and my parents in town from FL, I was just soaking in all the family time. I am typically not one to make new year’s resolutions, but there is a first time for everything, right?
Resolution one (and only) – To balance my home and work life better this year. I took a new position at work, and it was the best decision I have made in a long time. Once I am into a smooth routine, I am vowing to be out on time each night. Having a view like this while I write from the dining room table overflows my heart with love, and makes it an easy resolution to make.
Today we will be watching the bowl games, and relaxing as a family before I head back to the office tomorrow. If I am lucky, among the laundry and writing, I plan to bake my January #BundtAMonth cake too. What better way to head back to the office than with a sweet treat for everyone to celebrate the New Year!
Wishing you and yours a happy and healthy 2013!
What is your best tip for balancing home and work life, whether it be working from home or an outside location?
