Macadamia and White Chocolate Chip Cookies

- 1 cup butter, softened
- ¾ cup packed light brown sugar
- ½ cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1½ cup chopped macadamia nuts
- 1½ cup white chocolate chips
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- In a large bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar.
- Add the vanilla extract and eggs (one at a time). Beat until light and fluffy.
- In a large bowl combine the flour, baking soda, and salt
- Add flour mixture to the egg mixture and stir until well blended.
- Fold in macadamia nuts and white chocolate chips.
- Using a ½ inch cookie scoop, scoop and place cookie dough on baking sheet about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
