Chocolate Dipped Rice Krispie Treat Pops #SundaySupper Picnic

Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1 package 16 oz mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Kellogg'sĀ® Rice KrispiesĀ® cereal
  • 2 cups Peanut Butter Cheerios
  • Cake pop sticks
  • Chocolate for dipping/drizzling (I use Baker's easy microwaveable cups)
  • Multi-colored shaped sprinkles or nonpareils (optional)
Instructions
  1. In large saucepan melt butter over low heat.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Add Rice Krispies and Cheerios, stir until well coated.
  5. Line 13X9 baking dish with wax paper.
  6. Evenly press mixture into 13 x 9 x 2-inch.
  7. This may sound funny, but I butter my fingers for easy pressing and molding.
  8. Allow to marshmallow treats to cool.
  9. Use your favorite cookie cutter to cut into shapes.
  10. Push a cake pop stick into the bottom of shaped treat.
  11. Lay treats on sheet of wax paper
  12. Melt chocolate according to package directions
  13. Drizzle melted chocolate over shaped treats
  14. Decorate with sprinkles or nonpareils as desired
  15. Let chocolate set until hardened again
  16. Best if served the same day
