Growing up I had a favorite Great Aunt. Every Summer, I would spend two weeks at her house in New Jersey with my older sister. Even though we were away from my parents, there was never time to get homesick since our Great Aunt spoiled us rotten. We spent our days playing games, riding the bus to go shopping, eating fresh Jersey tomato sandwiches, and drinking brewed sun tea. Now I live in the South and I am surrounded by sweet tea. In the past five years, I have embraced the sweet, but sadly, I never seem to replicate the perfect level of sweetness. That was until I brewed a batch of Southern Breeze Sweet Tea.
Making sweet tea is unbelievably easy when you use Southern Breeze Sweet Tea bags. All you have to do is heat the water for a few minutes, and then add the family sized tea bags to steep for five minutes or so. Once the tea steeps long enough, I add cool water and ice to chill it down. The family size bags are perfect for making a pitcher for the family in minutes.
As much as I love sweet tea though, I do have an internal struggle with the unnecessary calories. Southern Breeze Sweet Tea bags are sweetened with Splenda. I love that the sweetener is already mixed in the bags with the real tea leaves. This simple addition ensures the perfect level of sweet in every pitcher I make.
Kicking back and enjoying a glass of perfectly sweetened brewed tea takes me back to those Summer weeks with staying with my lovely Great Aunt. As I sip, I sit back and let the memories wash over me while I enjoy my glass of tea. Of course my glass is not safe when Jed is around. Anyone love enjoying a drink all to themselves without having to share? Yeah, neither. I haven’t had a drink to myself since my first born was 2. Sharing in apparently is just a given.
I am also excited to share, that the awesome people at Southern Breeze Sweet Tea genrerously offering a gift package to one of you! The gift pack will include a box of Southern Sweet Tea and a Southern Breeze Sweet Tea mason jar! Sweet! Total pun intended!

My family has always been a sweet tea drinking family. In fact my mom was known for her sweet tea when I was in high school. My friends loved it!
I love sweet tea, grew up with a Mom who never put sugar in the tea, unless company was coming, so I made up my mind at a young age, that when I got grown I would always have sweet tea at my house!
My Grandma used to make sweet tea and now that she passed away anytime I drink sweet tea I immediately remember her and for a split second I feel like I did back in childhood not a care in the world.
All of my earliest family memories involve sweet tea. We drank it with every dinner and one of my earliest memories in the kitchen was helping my Mom make tea.
Sweet tea reminds me of being at the beach and listening to the waves. One of the many reasons I love living in the South!
The only thing my mom drank in the summer was sweet tea and she made the best. I have great memories of sitting on the porch with her, drinking tea and doing a puzzle or playing cards, sometimes just hanging out.
I’m not a big sweet tea fan, but my southern sister-in-law loves it!
My grandmother and I would always sit on the front porch and drink tea. We would talk about the day and sip on tea.
I love the taste of sweet southern tea. I love sitting in the backyard with my family sipping tea.
I had never had sweet tea until I was 23. Some friends and I took a vacation to New Orleans for first week-ish of September in 2001. We had a blast… and I still hadn’t tasted sweet tea. After a wild weekend, in which we had all completely blown out bank accounts, we boarded our planes to return home. My flight was diverted and grounded due to the 9/11 attacks. I didn’t know anyone in Tennessee, and I had no money left. A family was super selfless and took us in. After having no food for a few days, we were given sweet tea. It tasted heavenly.
When I was growing up all of my Aunts and Uncles drank sweet tea.
I love it with lots of ice!
