If you didn’t notice all my tweets a few weeks ago about how YOU could get an awesome 25% discount coupon for any Verizon accessory, I’m sad you missed out. I’ve signed on again with Verizon Wireless, continuing to be an ambassador for another three months, and I couldn’t be more excited!
Our latest sample device is the BlackBerry z10, and I will admit I was a little hesitant regarding receiving a BlackBerry. I have a BlackBerry for my day job, and it’s not very social network friendly, or camera friendly, or music friendly, etc. Well my friends, the smartphone tide has finally started to turn for BlackBerry with the introduction of the Z10.
Using the Z10 is so fluid, mostly in part by the new Blackberry Hub. With one swipe, I can quickly access my emails and my favorite social–media networks in one place. You can stop whatever you are doing, even mid-work in an app, and immediately access the Hub without stopping what you’re doing. Heck, you won’t want to stop multitasking, and you won’t have to with the speedy Verizon 4G LTE.
And speaking of apps…holy moly! I was not even aware of all the apps that are now available for BlackBerry. I have become reliant on a lot of my apps on my past sample phones with the Verizon Ambassador program, so I was very excited to learn that the BlackBerry Z10 can “support” Android apps on its BB10 operating system. According to my fellow ambassador BrothaTech, I can even sideload my beloved Instagram! Wahoo! Now I just need to make the time to sit down and get it done!
When the Blackberry Z10 arrived, it came in super cool packaging. The sleek black box, was filled with an assortment of accessories along with the phone! Sweet!
One of the best accessories inside the box for me was the Blackberry Bluetooth speaker. We always have music playing in the house, and this makes it easy to access my favorite tunes while we are getting dinner together. I was happy to find the third-party Pandora app named Apollo. When I opened Apollo, my favorite Pandora stations were already there. So easy!
I could go on and on about all the fun accessories and features of the new BlackBerry Z10, but that will have to wait until the next post, so make sure you stay tuned!
