I am an online mom. I love to be social via Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, you name it. One of my other online vices has become shopping. I can get so much done in a very short amount of time. I usually know what I want, so when I know where to go to buy it online, the battle is over before it starts. Of course, I still have a few favorite go to stores at the mall for myself. But for the kids or holiday shopping, I always find myself back online, which is also why I was so interested to learn more about the Personal Shopper by Shop Your Way Program.
Shop Your Way is a valuable site to learn about new products from other online shoppers just like me, complete with product reviews and all the hottest trends for today. What makes Shop Your Way different, is their Personal Shopper Program. This program allows me to help friends and family with their own online shopping, save money, and in the end make a little money for myself. Hmmmm…get paid to shop. Sure. I could do that.
The process is easy as 1-2-3. Honestly. it really is that easy.
First, sign yourself up to be a personal shopper with Shop Your Way. It’s completely FREE! Once you are signed up, get yourself aquainted with the Shop Your Way tools and resources available to you. You’ll have access to shop great brands like Apple, Kenmore, Sears, and Land’s End, to name a few. I have already started a catalog for my favorite kitchen items HERE. As you can see my BundtaMonth group is kind of on the brain lately. You too can design personalized catalogs, draft polls, review content, etc. These tools are all there to help you, help your future clients shop stress free at any time that is convenient to them.
Which brings us to our second step, building your client network. Your clients can be anyone from family and friends, to co-workers and facebook friends. Anyone that likes to shop online and could use a litte extra time in their day is a potential client. We could all use more hours in a day, so by making online shopping easier for your clients you are giving them time back that they would have spent searching for that perfect gift. With each client you add, you will earn 1% commission on all their qualifying purchases. When you have 20 or more clients, you can earn an additional 1% commission on qualifying purchases.
Wondering what the third step is from 1-2-3? It’s that nagging question. I know what’s in it for me, but what’s in it for the clients? When my clients shop and make purchases through their Shop Your Way Rewards account they earn rewards points. By signing up, I received my own reward points. When I make my first qualifying purchase, those points are equivalent to a cash discount off my next purchase. So everyone’s a winner…or a saver, depending how you look at it. Plus, like I said before, Shop Your Way is FREE to sign up. You can send invitations via Facebook, Gmail, Yahoo! or even by *gasp* typing email addresses in manually. Make your social network work for you. If your friends are always picking your brain to help them find the perfect gift, why not make it easier for them to solicit your shopping advice. There is even a way to shop together with a client on the site! Such a cool feature to enable you to learn even more about your client’s personal style and tastes. You can work on creating the perfect Halloween decorations together!
