Sharing BlogHer SWAG – My First Giveaway

What is SWAG?

SWAG is when “we hear about celebrities and their fabulous goody bags they receive for presenting awards, attending opening parties and the like. These little perks are called “swag,” which is short for “stuff we all get.”

I’ve been to conferences before and am familiar with companies sharing full size product samples or sharing brand new items to generate buzz. While preparing for BlogHer and reading forum posts from previous attendees, I was surprised to find out SWAG was an as talked about subject as parties and what to wear.

I found out I could:
Exchange, donate or grab extra SWAG
Bring extra luggage for your SWAG
Pack up and ship home your SWAG
Leave the nice housekeeping staff your SWAG

I went to San Diego with a conscious effort only to lug home return with items that was pertinent to me, my family, or to my readers.
That’s you Mom & Dad.

Now, on the off chance I have a few more readers than family and obligated co-workers, I decided to offer up some of the cool stuff I brought home from BlogHer. Sharing is caring, right? And I care about you!
