Disney On Ice Treasure Trove Provides Spectacular Family Fun

I love ice shows.
I said it.
I am a grown woman and frilly costumes worn by twirling skaters gets me every time.

I find myself mezmerized by the athletic ability and grace required by a skater to make a production come alive for the viewer. Disney On Ice performers always set the bar so high. I go in with huge expectations, and I have never been disappointed.

Disney On Ice Treasure Trove is currently running at The Arena at Gwinnett Center from last night, Wednesday, March 28th through Sunday, April 1st.

You should go.
Use your kids as an excuse if you have to, and give in to your inner child that loves the spectacular flamboyancy that only Disney can provide.

The first part of the show features The Incredibles, which got the kids up out of their seats and jumping to warm up for the show! My son loved this! Then performances and songs followed from Alice in Wonderland and then Peter Pan, Captain Hook, and of course Tinker Bell (floating through the air)!

After a short intermission came my favorite segment. The Lion King! The costumes portrayed the extravagance of a Broadway show. They ran through the entire story from Simba’s journey to the elephant graveyard, to the moment he takes his place among the other animals, as King. I loved it all!

Then energy of the show continued to be off the charts with the following group performances of Snow White, Aladdin, Tangled, The Princess and the Frog. And of course, no Disney On Ice production is ever complete without a hearty share of skating princesses and dazzling fireworks!

This show has something for everyone! So many characters are featured, I am sure each family member will spot their favorite. We had an incredible time, and my love of ice shows is stronger than ever. It also doesn’t hurt, I got to hang out with fellow Moe’s blogger advisory board member, @LocalMandi from Cumming Local!

There is still time to check out the show and tickets are still available!

Who knows…you may see me and my family in the audience again.
