Hey y’all! We’re still digging out from #Snowzilla Jonas here in PA, but we found a bright side from the piling of snow we received over the weekend. We made this incredibly delicious, but oh so easy, Two Ingredient Snow Ice Cream Recipe!

If you follow me on Instagram you probably saw some of the #Snowzilla updates, but you also probably are familiar with my love of coffee and flavored creamers. I always have a variety of flavored coffee creamers on hand for mixing up the flavor of my morning cup(s). One of my go to creamers for adding to recipes requiring milk and vanilla, like my oven baked French Toasts, hint hint, is COFFEE-MATE® natural bliss® vanilla. This post is not sponsored in any way, I just really like this creamer, but let’s get back on topic…yummy SNOW CREAM!

First get a big ‘ol bowl of fresh powdery snow. Powdery works best due to it’s fine texture. We had plenty this weekend. Obviously.

I’m in awe that it’s still coming down. #Blizzard2016 #Snowzilla #StillSnowing #snomg #IntheKitchen

I got A TON of snow in my bowl. No way I needed a batch of snow cream that big, so I tossed some back outside, and started mixing in the creamer. I would set a ratio of about one cup of snow to 1/4 cup of creamer, but the best is to just eyeball the mixture to gain the consistency you like best. I tend to like it on the creamier side versus chunky. It’s total personal preference.

Since the creamer I used already has the sugar in it, if you want your snow cream to be less sweet, you can add a little extra plan milk. This will not add additional sweetness, but still allow you to get the consistency you want, and of course make your family smile enjoying the deliciousness.

Of course there is more than one way to make your own snow cream creation. My friend Amiyrah, from 4 Hats And Frugal, uses sweetened condensed milk in her snow ice cream recipe, and my friend Leandrea, from Coupons are Great uses simple milk, sugar and vanilla in her snow cream recipe. The choice is yours on the recipe you want to try, but it’s something you need to make at least once if you have access to fresh, powdery snow. You definitely won’t be disappointed.
