Paula, Giada, The Neelys, Southeast Chefs and Array of Exhibitors Showcase Their Culinary Skills

Atlanta – This weekend, April 30 and May 1, 2011, the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show will return to the Cobb Galleria Centre with special events featuring Food Network and Cooking Channel stars and renowned chefs from across the region hosting cooking demonstrations.

In addition to appearances by headliners Paula Deen, Giada De Laurentiis and The Neelys the show will be honoring the James Beard Foundation on the cooking stage of its Culinary Center, where renowned local and national chefs will be inspiring the audience with demonstrations on how to create awards winning dishes in their own kitchens.

Highlighting the show will be product sampling and sales from more than 200 exhibitors representing an array of international specialty foods selections. Featured events include celebrity book signings, a luncheon with Paula Deen, kids cooking classes, as well tasting and entertainment workshops.

General admission tickets are $22 in advance and $25 on-site.
Children ages 4 – 12 are $12 in advance and $15 on-site.
Children ages four and under are free.

General admission includes demonstrations and entertaining presentations on the exhibit floor. Additional tickets are required for special events, such as a luncheon with Paula Deen and entry to the beer, wine & spirits tent. More special events may be found at www.MetroCooking.com.

Guests will be able to enjoy presentations and tastings by award winning chefs from across the Southeast including:Justin Keith of Atlanta’s Food 101 cookbook author and tv personality Nathalie Dupree of Charleston and Louis Osteen of Nashville’s Fish & Co.
