Sweet Treats and Cutie Pies – Mommy and Me Monday

[ 1 ] November 5, 2012 |

I know Halloween was last week, but I just couldn’t resist sharing pictures!  I love Halloween, and we brought Baby home from the hospital on October 31st, so it will always be special to me.  Here we are ready to go out and snag some yummy candy!

Baby picked the geisha costume solely on the fact that she could wear chopsticks in her hair, and of course Jed struggled between Spiderman and Buzz Lightyear.  In the end, Buzz was the big winner!  I was pretty excited too since there may be other years of Spiderman costumes, but not sure if Buzz would win out as he got older!  Seriously…could there be a cuter Buzz Lightyear???  Yes, I am biased, and it’a mother’s right!

As we were trick or treating, the kids went up to this adorbaly decorated house. Since I was too lazy busy to decorate, of course I jumped at the opportunity for a cute photo background!

Halloween wouldn’t be complete without sharing my sweet niece, Cutie Pie in her costume too!  Such a beautiful butterfly!

It was a comfortable evening to stroll the neighborhood begging for candy trick or treating.  I think the neighbors were far too generous.  Now I need to find a good outlet to send all this candy!  If my children attempt to eat it, they won’t sleep for days!

What do you do with all the candy your kids receive from trick or treating?

Have you succeeded and gotten yourself out from behind the camera lately?

  1. Wow…that’s a lot of candy.

Bring it to the dentist and they send it to the troops..or our school does the same. You could also bring it to food donation places like MUST where they will put it in their boxed lunches.
