Growing up I had a favorite Great Aunt. Every Summer, I would spend two weeks at her house in New Jersey with my older sister. Even though we were away from my parents, there was never time to get homesick since our Great Aunt spoiled us rotten. We spent our days playing games, riding the bus to go shopping, eating fresh Jersey tomato sandwiches, and drinking brewed sun tea. Now I live in the South and I am surrounded by sweet tea. In the past five years, I have embraced the sweet, but sadly, I never seem to replicate the perfect level of sweetness. That was until I brewed a batch of Southern Breeze Sweet Tea.
Making sweet tea is unbelievably easy when you use Southern Breeze Sweet Tea bags. All you have to do is heat the water for a few minutes, and then add the family sized tea bags to steep for five minutes or so. Once the tea steeps long enough, I add cool water and ice to chill it down. The family size bags are perfect for making a pitcher for the family in minutes.
As much as I love sweet tea though, I do have an internal struggle with the unnecessary calories. Southern Breeze Sweet Tea bags are sweetened with Splenda. I love that the sweetener is already mixed in the bags with the real tea leaves. This simple addition ensures the perfect level of sweet in every pitcher I make.
Kicking back and enjoying a glass of perfectly sweetened brewed tea takes me back to those Summer weeks with staying with my lovely Great Aunt. As I sip, I sit back and let the memories wash over me while I enjoy my glass of tea. Of course my glass is not safe when Jed is around. Anyone love enjoying a drink all to themselves without having to share? Yeah, neither. I haven’t had a drink to myself since my first born was 2. Sharing in apparently is just a given.
I am also excited to share, that the awesome people at Southern Breeze Sweet Tea genrerously offering a gift package to one of you! The gift pack will include a box of Southern Sweet Tea and a Southern Breeze Sweet Tea mason jar! Sweet! Total pun intended!
