Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. Dressing up is so much fun and the photo opps are many. Unfortunately, if you’re anything like me, the best Halloween photos are still on your phone. I am blown away by how awesome our new neighborhood is. The kids all play well together and the parents are a ton of fun. I wasn’t surprised at all to find out they all participate in a neighborhood get together for Halloween. I conspired with the hostess of the party to create a photo booth for everyone to enjoy. I also made a quick stop at Michael’s Craft store for a few extra craft supplies.
One of my favorite props for the photo booth was a giant decorated photo frame. I wanted something lightweight for the kids to be able to hold easily. I decided to go with a giant foam board. Lucky for me, one of the employees that worked in the framing area assisted in cutting out the center of the foam board. That was a blessing to me. I knew I would never be able to get the opening straight.
Once I had the foam board home, I used an assortment of glittery stickers, gel clings, glitter glue, and glow in the dark paint to make the frame really pop for pictures. I just love how the giant frame turned out. I think I need to make one of these for every holiday party going forward. The card board Trick Or Treat cutout that I spray painted orange turned out pretty cool too!
My craftiness didn’t stop there. I also made a few brightly decorated signs for guests to hold. It was a total bonus to find most of the Halloween embellishments I used on sale too.
The hostess set up an area for my printer at the party. We wanted everyone to be able to print pictures to take home. I mingled around the party explaining the fun that was waiting for the guests after they downloaded the free HP Social Media Snapshots app.
