Ingredients
  • Brownies
  • ½ cup butter
  • ¼ cup of creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon baking powder
  • ⅓ cup milk chocolate candy melts for topping
  • Peanut butter chips for sprinkling on top
  • Chocolate chips for sprinkling on top
  • Peanut Butter Icing
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup confectioner’s sugar
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Spray an 8-inch square pan with non-stick spray for baking.
  3. In a large saucepan, melt ½ cup butter.
  4. Remove butter from heat, and stir in peanut butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  5. Beat in ⅓ cup cocoa, ½ cup flour, salt, and baking powder.
  6. Spread batter into prepared pan and bake in oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
  7. Do not over bake.
  8. Prepare Icing
  9. Combine butter, peanut butter, vanilla extract and confectioner’s sugar and stir until smooth.
  10. Spread icing over warm brownies.
  11. Microwave candy melts according to package directions and stir until smooth
  12. Drizzle melted chocolate over peanut butter icing and top with peanut butter and chocolate chips
  13. Let topped brownies set before slicing.
