Spiced Chai Drop Cookies

- ¼ cup whipping cream
- 6 Bigelow® Spiced Chai Tea Bags
- ½ cup of butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ flour, sifted
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Preheat oven to 350ºF
- Heat whipping cream in the microwave for 1 minute or until it comes to a low boil.
- Remove cream from microwave and add tea bags.
- Let tea bags steep for 5 minutes. Remove bags and squeeze any excess cream and set aside.
- In large bowl, cream butter, vanilla and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and mix until thoroughly combined.
- In a second large bowl, sift flour, salt and baking powder.
- Add flour mixture and chai flavored whipping cream alternately to butter mixture and combine thoroughly.
- Using a ½ inch cookie scoop, place cookie dough onto greased baking sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
