If you have been following along with me each month sharing my thoughts on the Dunkin’ Donuts #DunkinMugUp contest, you should have guessed it was time for another update. Each month the contest has featured fun themes to share your photo with your favorite mug via Instagram. This month Dunkin’ Donuts wants to see your Hipster side, and it made me giggle at the thought of me trying to pull off the quirky look of a Hipster.
Hipsters are people who enjoy clothing, music, food and activities outside of the social mainstream. I am so inside the mainstream it’s scary. The most Hipster I get is trying on the fake glasses with Baby while we are shopping.
Even though I don’t own a pair of skinny jeans or fake glasses, I can still relate to the Hipster on some common ground items. We both love Social Media. Hello, Instagram, and other awesome photo filter apps! We’re both always on the lookout for the next big thing before it becomes too mainstream, and we both love coffee.
Winning coffee is super cool too. If you simply upload a photo of you with your coffee mug showing your own Hipster side, you may win free coffee! You can submit your photo to the Dunkin’ Donuts Mug Up Contest and complete the registration, or enter using Instagram, making sure to tag your photo with the hashtag #DunkinMugUp.
