It’s hard to believe, but Summer is already starting to wind down for us. Soon we’ll be out shopping for school supplies, but not before we squeeze in as much family play time as possible. Whether we are hanging at the pool or headed to the park for picnic, thirst quenching, Summer drinks are a true necessity.
The South is known for it’s sweet tea, and everyone drinks it year round. In the Summer, I crave a half and half blend of tangy lemonade and sassy sweet tea, and you can usually find me drinking a tall one anytime we are out and about in the Georgia heat. When I don’t have time to make homemade tea, I know I can easily grab a chilled bottle of Snapple Half ‘n Half tea from my fridge.
Packing a picnic is as easy as 1, 2, 3 when you have the right components in the house. You can check out my latest quest for picnic staples on G+. I almost always have lunch meat on hand for some quick sandwiches, but if not, peanut butter and jelly are good in a pinch. Make a couple of sandwiches, grab a few prepackaged snacks and bottles of snaptea from the pantry, and the picnic lunch is ready to go.
In no time at all, we are on our way to the park for an afternoon of fun in the sun.
Our family seems to always be on the go. You can find us either checking out a new park or sprayground, or enjoying the day at our community pool, and the whole time, I am there snapping pictures. If your family is the same way, then you need to check out Snapple’s On The Go Photo Contest. You could win a year supply of Snapple. That’s a whole lot of Summertime refreshment!
As an extra bonus, $1.00 coupons are available on Walmart.com now through September, 30th, and valid in the areas where Walmart carries the Snap Tea products. Plan ahead and save money on items you are already planning to purchase. A little extra savings may just help send you on your next family adventure.
