Get Ready for a New Brisket in Town #SmokehouseBrisket @Arbys

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Arby’s. All opinions are 100% mine.

Last weekend we headed out of the house bright and early to head to the local pumpkin patch.  We wanted to beat the crowd, but when we arrived at 10:30 AM the farm was already packed with a ton of families that had the same idea we did.  We strolled around snapping fun Fall photos, and of course hopped on the tractor pulled wagon for the obligatory first hay ride of the season.  After finding the perfect pumpkin, we headed to the car.  Once everyone was all buckled in, I glanced at the clock and it was after 1:00 PM.  Holy cow!  The time just flew, but now that we were in the car, I heard the whines of hunger from the back seat.  I quickly remembered the gift card I received from Arby’s earlier in the week to try out their new Smokehouse Brisket sandwich, so off to Arby’s we went.

When I walked into the Arby’s, I saw the huge poster for the Smokehouse Brisket, and I knew I needed to try it.  The sandwich features layers of beef brisket, topped with smoked Gouda cheese, crispy onions, smoky BBQ sauce, and mayo, served on a toasted, bakery-style bun.  The brisket is smoked for 13+  hours, and when I opened the wrapper of my sandwich I was not disappointed!

Arby’s certainly doesn’t skimp on the quantity of brisket to fill this sandwich.  The meat was overflowing the sides of the bun, and I loved that you can see the smoke ring on each slice.  Personally the mayo on the sandwich was ok.  I would probably get it without mayo next time because the sweet and savory combination of the skinny, crispy fried onions and barbecue sauce was my favorite part of the sandwich.  The toasted bun and crispy onions offered a great texture contrast to the layers of tender brisket.  If you are a smoked brisket fan, then you should definitely Find an Arby’s near you.  You don’t want to miss this sandwich!

You can get even social with Arby’s!  Share a pic of your own Smokehouse Brisket sandwich via Instagram or Twitter using the hashtag #SmokehouseBrisket.

What’s your favorite menu item at Arby’s?  Are you excited to try out the new Smokehouse Brisket sandwich?
