It’s Summer time and warm weather calls for ice cream. Well, to be honest, in our house, any weather calls for ice cream! However, July is National ice cream month, so I was destined to take it a step further. I was selected to host a Cadbury High Tea Party that included Cadbury™ Ice Cream Bars, and a fabulous assortment of Mommy/Daughter tea party hats and fascinators. Ice cream and fancy hats. Yes, please.
I’ll take any excuse to plan a party. Baby and I were happy to invite a few friends over to help us indulge in some yummy cream cheese tea sandwiches, fruit kabobs, and of course “tea” in precious little tea cups. Even Jed needed to get in the act, so I made sure he had a top hat to play too.
After everyone finishing lunch, it was time for dessert of sweet treats! Bring on the mouth watering Cadbury ice cream bars! Wahoo! I couldn’t unwrap them fast enough! Don’t even ask me how many hands I had to gently swat away so I could snap the picture below! Can you say YUM?
Cadbury was very generous sending samples of four different flavors. Each flavor of creamy Blue Bunny® ice cream is covered in a thick chocolatey coating. Plus they come in a snack size, which is perfect for satisfying that sweet tooth without breaking the calorie bank. Trust me when I say they are scrumptious! I should know. I tried them all. We did have one guest with a nut allergy, so I was happy there were flavors that were ok for her to enjoy too.
- Cadbury™ Caramello™: Creamy Blue Bunny® vanilla ice cream is swirled with caramel sauce and dipped in rich, creamy Cadbury milk chocolaty coating
- Cadbury™ Double Chocolate: Creamy Blue Bunny® chocolate ice cream is dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating
- Cadbury™ Vanilla Chocolate: Creamy Blue Bunny ® vanilla ice cream is dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating
- Cadbury™ Chocolate Almond: Creamy Blue Bunny® vanilla ice cream dipped in thick, rich Cadbury milk chocolaty coating with almond pieces.
We had a wonderful afternoon of playtime, chatting, and sharing of treats. I was happy my own mom was even in town to share in the tea party fun. Look how adorable everyone looks in the gorgeous hats! I made sure the girls all were able to take hats home, so they could enjoy high tea anytime they wanted. Huge thanks to Cadbury and MomSelect for the opportunity to celebrate National Ice Cream Month British style!
When was the last time you hosted a tea party?
